Join the Leica Akademie for this weekend Street Photography Masterclass with legendary New York City based photographer Phil Penman.
This weekend workshop will take you on a journey with Phil as he shows you the techniques that go into mastering street photography and how you can begin composing striking images in the street.
The practical element of the workshop is an intensive weekend of shooting in the bustling streets of central London. Beginning early in the morning and shooting into the evening, Phil will be sharing stories and experiences and discussing his tips and tricks along the way.
In the classroom-based elements of the workshop, Phil will discuss his working process, from how he selects his equipment to the techniques he uses for post-production editing, how he manages his social media and website and much more. Lastly Phil will take you through the process of creating a fine art photo print from an image you shoot over the weekend.
Who Should Attend:
The photo walk element of the workshop requires participants to be capable of walking at least 5 miles each day as a group. Please take your personal ability and wellbeing into consideration before booking.
This workshop is open to all levels of photographer who are keen to grow their skill set.
*A Leica Camera is not required for this class. Students must have a basic operational knowledge of their camera. An assortment of Leica Cameras will be available on loan at no further cost for the duration of the workshop (please see T&C's).
