Collective speech – the act of speaking, chanting or singing in unison—carries many important meanings in modern culture. This conversation and performance explore songs and chants of political protest as a distinctive genre of collective speaking, expressions of group solidarity that can also be fiercely partisan.
In partnership with the University of East Anglia. Supported by the British Academy.
