Language. Consciousness. Magick. Romance. Adventures in writing. Further adventures in writing.

About this event
TypoCircle hosts Thomas Sharp – writer and Creative Director – who has been commissioned by Cubitts, British Library, Henry Moore Foundation, London Fire Brigade, St Martin-in-the-Fields and Politico … and who will be presenting an evening of language, consciousness, magick, romance and many adventures in writing.
Half of his time is dedicated to working on brand partnerships to create emotional, resonant, magical identities and advertising, always with language at their heart. The other half of his time is committed to artistic matters. The pursuit of these mysteries appear as objects and relics, limited edition books, films, physical installations and performance.
Both aspects of creativity loop into the other.
‘A brilliant creative mind’ says Alice Black, ex-Director of The Design Museum. ‘A remarkable self-driven creator, working outside the usual-suspect groups, with an enormous investment of time and talent’ says Sphinx Review. ‘He is so obviously special’ says Sir Tim Smit, founder of Eden Project.
He has lots of prizes and was the world’s second most awarded studio in the 2020 D&AD awards.
This TypoCircle talk will explore what writing can do and what a life in creativity means.
Welcome drinks 6.30pm. Talk starts at 7pm.
