Beginning, middle and end, right? Right, but only to a certain point. This is the most simplest form of story and narrative, yet there is so much more to telling a story. It’s all about engaging your viewer, reader or audience with a story. We all have an in-built understanding of story and so expect ups, downs, twists and turns!

The concept of writing a story in today's age is often misunderstood and readily viewed as unimportant. A good story has a beginning, middle, and end, yes —but a good storyteller knows it’s not always that simple.

Getting from beginning to end requires you to follow a certain structure in order to create an engaging and exciting experience for the audience.

In a world where stories and structure are constantly being toyed with, tossed about, and played up - a storytellers advice on narrative structure stands the test of time.

Our friend Steven Allison, AKA, WriterFox is a freelance Film & TV Journo, Ghostwriter, Content Writer/Editor and Blogger. He's worked with the BBC, Reader's Digest, and The Playlist to name a few; and we can't wait to have him speak to us on all things story structure and narrative as we've mentioned above.

Whilst rules don’t always need to be followed to a T, understanding how story structure works is essential for whatever structure you end up employing.
Join us as we explain all of the above with the help of WriterFox!
See you there.
