Create festive postcards with recycled materials as part of our latest UNIQLO Tate Play family workshop in our Oxford Street flagship store!
About this event
Inspired by Tate's vibrant collection of fibre artists Cecilia Vicuna and Magdalena Abakanowicz, we will use our recycled materials to create Festive Patchwork Postcards to send to loved ones during the season of giving. Once completed you can even send your postcard to a family member or friend for free at our in store post-box!
This drop-in workshop is run by Tate Art Educator Alice Davies as part of UNIQLO Tate Play - Tate's Family Programme at Tate Modern and in UNIQLO stores for families of all ages.
Always taking inspiration from the art on display at Tate Modern, UNIQLO Tate Play will keep offering families new ways to play together and get creative.
Together UNIQLO and Tate share the common goal of making art accessible for all.
Location
This event will take place on the 3rd floor kids floor of our flagship UNIQLO 311 Oxford Street store.
Our 3rd floor can be accessed via the in-store lift, or alternatively via escalator through the store.
Suitable for children and young people of all ages, minimum age recommendation 4+. One ticket per workshop attendee. Workshop attendance is drop in, with the activity taking approximately 30-45 minutes.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times whilst taking part in the workshop.
