Grace Barrett

Grace is a musician, writer and speaker with a love of dogs and cake. she's excited for the day that these things define her – rather than the colour of her skin – but she acknowledges (with a heavy heart) that we are not there yet. Identifying as 'mixed-race' Grace has wrestled with her relationship with race. She has been incredibly aware of the privilege she holds and yet also of the ill treatment she’s received because of her ethnicity. Despite this, for Grace it's important to use her privileges to help build anti-racist spaces and to talk candidly about her experience and the lessons she’s learnt to date.

Grace talks on radio, works with educators, museums and many more nationwide on this mission and she can’t wait to work with you too!
