Learn the basics of designing your own home interiors using the latest colour trends, historical influences and personal style.

What to expect
Dream interiors are an expression of who we are and how we want the world to see us, bringing to life our tastes and aspirations.
Focusing on comfort and cosiness or cutting-edge concepts and forms, this course will teach participants how to use colours, patterns, furniture and materials to create interiors that reflect their needs and desires. Through a combination of presentations and workshop activities, attendees will discover the latest colour and style trends as well as historical influences on interior design. They will then create their own mood board to take home.
Learning outcomes:
  • Find out how to interpret and combine colour and style trends
  • Utilise colour, pattern and texture in interiors
  • Understand how to select furniture to enhance a design proposal
  • Develop a mood board and design proposal for a given interior
