About RVU Financial Services:
As the Financial Services team for Uswitch, Confused and Money, our goal is to be the UK’s favourite way to choose the best financial products for big life events - from Credit Cards to use on while travelling to Savings Accounts to help move you closer to a dream purchase. The role:
As a core member of our Operations team you will be key to the effective running of a number of the UK’s largest comparison sites in Financial Services, helping people to save money on their bills every day. You will work in a fast paced and fun environment, helping to maintain the Financial Services across Confused.com, Uswitch and Money.co.uk.
We are looking for an intelligent and adaptable candidate with strong time management capabilities and high attention to detail. You should possess excellent problem solving and communication skills and an intense desire to learn.
You will have the opportunity to involve yourself in a number of areas of a successful online business through collaboration with teams across the whole of RVU, including Product/Tech, Commercial, & Finance. The role will also require that you support external relationships, working with Financial Service suppliers to ensure a positive customer experience.
What you’ll be doing:
  • Responsible for all daily operational tasks within the Financial Services area of our website, ensuring product information is accurate and up to date, financial data is entered with precision and performance reporting is delivered to our partners
  • Provide support for tracking financial reporting, liaising with suppliers and finance to ensure reporting is received in a timely manner
  • Be a key point of contact between operations teams and the wider RVU Financial Services team. This can involve collating information from suppliers to support key Uswitch projects, communicating supplier change requests to the product audit team, feeding back Uswitch views to external stakeholders and sharing data insight with the wider energy team
  • Play a key role in the on-boarding of new financial suppliers
  • Working with the commercial team to maintain existing and ongoing campaigns, start/end dates and campaign budgets
What we’re looking for:
Essentials
  • Analytical ability - you are comfortable with numbers, have confidence in your own analytical skills and have a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to read and understand financial charts and reports
  • At least 2 years' demonstrable experience working with external partners directly through a variety of means (phone, email, in-person etc)
  • High attention to detail - someone who can complete tasks under pressure, in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Commitment to quality - someone who aims to continuously improve their way of working and deliver beyond the minimum
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships - both internally, across a team of various disciplines and experience, and externally with Financial suppliers
  • Strong communication skills - have the ability to effectively communicate with a range of audiences, through both written and verbal interactions
  • Strong organisation skills and efficiency - you are able to manage your own time and prioritise tasks accordingly, often working to strict deadlines
  • Team player - you respect the needs of your team members and appreciate that collaboration often leads to better results
Desirables
  • Experience in a Financial Services, Technology, eCommerce or digital agency type environment would be beneficial
