A collection of three boutique travel companies under the banner of The Peligoni Group, we are a family run company with a core team of around 30 employees with offices in London, the Cotswolds and Greece. We are looking for a talented and versatile Content Editor to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This role is essential in maintaining our high standards of content quality and digital marketing outreach.

The Team
You will be part of a Marketing team of 5, reporting to the Head of Marketing. The team work closely with events, operations and sales who collectively report to the Managing Director.
Job Details
Location: Hammersmith Office
Working Hours: 9am – 6pm Monday to Friday with the option to be flexible.
5 days in the office with the option to work 1 day from home.
Content Creation & Editing:
– Write, edit, and proofread high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimised content for our websites.
– Ensure all content is aligned with the brand’s voice, style, and messaging, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
– Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling content that supports marketing strategies, including email campaigns, social media posts, and promotional materials.
Digital Marketing Support:
– Optimise content for online performance, ensuring strong SEO practices and keyword integration.
– Assist in managing and curating content across various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and newsletters.
– Monitor and analyse content performance using tools such as Google Analytics and other tracking software to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
– Craft unique, engaging copy that resonates with our audience, particularly in the lifestyle and hospitality sectors.
– Bring fresh, creative ideas to the table for upcoming campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling.
Collaboration & Coordination:
– Ensure quality standards are met within work created by the marketing team and anything the company outputs.
– Coordinate with the team to align visual elements with written content for cohesive brand communication.
– Ensure timely delivery of content, managing calendars, and staying ahead of deadlines.
Quality Control & Proofreading:
– Conduct thorough checks for spelling, grammar, and formatting errors across all content.
– Maintain consistency in tone and style, ensuring that all published material adheres to brand guidelines.
– Over 5 years proven experience as a Content Editor, Copywriter, or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to create and edit content for lifestyle and hospitality sectors.
– Strong understanding of SEO, keyword research, and digital marketing principles.
– Excellent command of the English language, with exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
– Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of accuracy, tone, and brand consistency.
– Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, and experience with social media platforms.
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
– Analytical mindset with experience in using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar.
– Creative thinker with an eye for trends in the lifestyle and hospitality industries.
– Experience in email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo.
– Basic understanding of HTML and website optimisation practices.
– Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or other design tools is a plus.
Salary range 32-38k per annum, dependant on experience
