Designing key print and graphics that drive the buy and ways to wear that lead the wider channels. We create and design the trends key prints, graphics and palettes and work closely with the buying, merch,and supplier teams to deliver the product that our customers love and give them that New Look feeling they crave.
We are looking for a passionate and driven Design Assistant to join the Print and Colour team. You will be an integral part of our team.
With a finger on the pulse of the latest trends at all times, this individual will be eager to bring forward new ideas and really get stuck in.
Putting the New Look customer at the heart of everything you do, you will be responsible for assisting the print & graphic team to develop a must have range!
Researching the latest print, graphic and colour trends with an eye for quick to market trends.
Assisting the Designers in the creation of new print and graphic artworks in line with current trends and the New Look brand direction. This will be across multiple departments including Women’s, 915, and LNS.
Assisting in creating print and graphic specs for factories with a thorough approach to avoid mistakes.
Identifying and delivering trend packs, catwalk overviews, and social media trend pack. You will always have a finger on the pulse and constantly be looking for new inspiration.
Completing and reporting back on New Look store visits and competitor shopping across retail and e-com.
Working with the wider design team to collaborate on new ideas and possible opportunities within the business.
Organizing and creating filing systems for colour- creating seasonal colour palettes using Pantone and Coloro. Organisation is a must have.
Researching colour trends, matching pantones and shopping into colour for the business.
Having a positive attitude and ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment.
Able to take constructive feedback, to learn and grow with the business.
Willingness to take on new responsibilities and ownership through additional ambassador roles.
Knowledge of adobe packages including photoshop, illustrator and InDesign
Good level of experience creating repeat patterns or creating graphics. The Level 2 role should have 1+ years experience in a similar role (Retail, Supplier, Print Studio)
Team admin such as helping with expenses, feeding back on strike offs.
