Description

We’re looking for a Head of People & Culture who will play a transformational role in the next phase of Rapha. This role will have overall accountability on everything people; from cultivating a high-performance organisation to enhancing employee engagement, all while upholding our values at the centre of everything we do. The role is best suited for someone who enjoys working across all levels of the business and is happy to be both a strategic and hands-on leader.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support with the development and execution of our People & Culture strategy, focusing on building an inclusive, high-performance environment.
  • Advise and guide the leadership team on organisational change, ensuring smooth transitions and high levels of employee engagement during periods of transformation.
  • Partner with the leadership team to influence and shape company culture that is aligned with our purpose and values.
  • Lead and champion key culture initiatives across the organisation.
  • Develop and lead the People & Culture team, setting them up to support with successfully executing the People strategy.
  • Oversee the office team, providing direction to the office manager and ensuring we provide an excellent employee experience and office culture.
  • Working alongside other key stakeholders to build and define our L&D strategy for the future, confirming the required resources.
  • Overall accountability for the People team budget, optimising available resources.
  • Oversee our compensation strategy and benefits offering, ensuring our offering is competitive.
  • Drive continuous improvement in people processes, structures, and policies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee our talent strategy, ensuring we attract and retain a diverse workforce.
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:
  • Progressive, authentic leadership style, with proven experience in driving high-performance environments.
  • Experience supporting leadership and teams through organisational changes.
  • Ability to influence and challenge senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong, credible relationships at all levels.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced commercial environment, whilst retail experience would be advantageous it’s not essential.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, with the ability to create a supportive and inclusive working environment.
