Description

Internship For Artists, Designers & Coders at Children's After School Club —--

Are you interested in creativity and helping inspire children?

We run after school clubs that provide children with opportunities to explore their imagination using lego and technology.

As part of expanding our team of teachers, we are currently offering three internships. The internship involves shadowing either one or two after school clubs each week across four weeks. Each club is 1 hour long. You will get to see how we deliver our sessions, build students confidence and guide them with exploring their creativity through technology.

At the end of the four weeks, if you feel confident enough you will be able to start running clubs yourself.

For the internship we cover travel costs and pay £10 per session.

Once you are ready to start running sessions yourself s

essions pay between £35 - £45 ph session - The starting rate is £35 for Building Blocks and £40 for our other clubs. We also cover travel expenses and if cycling we also pay £5 per session.

Further info about clubs…

We run three types of clubs:

Building Blocks

- A club where students get to explore projects and games such as bridge building, tree house making and zip line challenges using Lego.

Programmable Robotics

- A club where students learn to build and code small interactive robots. They are able to do this even if they have absolutely no prior experience of robotics or coding.

Virtual Reality Design

- Our newest club, where children learn to build 3D worlds and then bring what's on the screen into the real world. (Think projected solar systems and planets flying through the classroom)

We run these sessions for students aged 5 - 14.
