Description

The Role:
Reporting to the Photography & Retouch Manager and working closely with the photography and retouching team to deliver high-quality stills for Mulberry.com, social media, press, marketing, design, advertising, still life, events, lookbooks and in-store - with emphasis on e-commerce.
Our ideal candidate would have advanced retouching skills, and be proficient in Photoshop and Capture One.
Our ideal candidate would have some video experience/the desire to expand their skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Pre-production
  • Prepare the shoot set up, making sure all technical equipment works and is available and in good order at all times, working closely with the Studio Coordinator.
  • Proactively perform competitor e-commerce research ahead of each season
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and new technology
  • Build relationships with key teams including Digital Trade, Design and Product Management to streamline work-flows and requests.
Production
  • Consistently execute elevated images that adhere to the brand guidelines and uphold the brand values
  • Style products for e-commerce still life according to brand guidelines using fishing line, blue tack, stuffing etc
  • Direct models on set to portray them and the products in the most favourable way
  • Take direction during shoots, adjusting lighting and shooting style to fulfil the brief
  • Support on ad-hoc projects when required
Post-production
  • Name, process, file and back up images consistently and in an approved manner that allows for easy searching

Skills and Experience Required:
  • 2+ years’ experience working in a similar role ideally in luxury fashion/photography studio
  • Advanced proficiency of working on a Mac and image software: Capture One, Photoshop CS
  • Basic Video skills or desire to expand skill set to video
  • Capable of trouble-shooting technical issues
  • Fun and positive attitude, a team player
  • Ability to overcome every day challenges with calm and grace
  • Strong eye for detail and creative instincts
  • Highly motivated and organised
