THE ROLE
PrettyLittleThing has an exciting new vacancy for a Junior Social Videographer. We need a social native, who has a passion for social media to help elevate our brand storytelling. Someone who understands the specificity per channel and is up to date with the latest app upgrades. You will need to be enthusiastic and driven to learn in a fast-paced and reactive environment. This will be an excellent opportunity to kickstart your career in the creative industries. You will get hands on experience working with industry grade equipment in a leading Fashion Company. Also, you will receive opportunities for further career development with various learning and development opportunities.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Shoot and Edit Short Form Video.
  • Shoot on location and in studio.
  • Be the go-to for the social team on support and technical knowledge for the production execution of ongoing YouTube series.
  • Research the latest trends in short form and social video to ensure our competitive edge.
  • Travel as per the business needs
  • Follow the workflow procedure of the brand.
  • Proactively meet daily personal and team targets.
  • Show initiative and creativity within the team.
  • Work closely with the Social Team to deliver high quality assets to briefs.
  • Carry out ad-hoc duties for the marketing and creative teams within the business.
  • Have regular catchups with members of the creative and marketing teams.
  • Go through a series of Learning and Development sessions.

MORE ABOUT YOU
  • Great understanding of trends and techniques in creating engaging Short Form Video for social media.
  • Good understanding of Davinci Resolve or Premier Pro Software with a good understanding of editing techniques, colouring and transitions.
  • Good understanding of Studio Lighting Skills and Video equipment.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Passion to learn.
  • Motivated to hit deadlines and initiative to work as part of a team.
  • Time Management skills to ensure effectively planning time and being conscious of deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
