Who You Are:

As our Design Lead, you're not just a designer; you're a visionary with a passion for leading creative projects. With a blend of design expertise and project management skills, you'll spearhead the development of our learning platform. Collaborating closely with our Creative Director and team members, you'll translate our product vision into actionable projects and guide the creative process from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creative projects for our learning platform, ensuring alignment with our product vision and brand identity.
  • Manage and mentor a team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity, proactivity, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop and communicate a clear and compelling product vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the design process from concept to delivery, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise features and enhancements based on customer needs, market trends, and business value.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to define requirements, plan releases, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in both design and project leadership roles, with a focus on digital products, e-publishing or e-learning platforms.
  • Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Suite, and knowledge of Adobe After Effects is a plus.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of design systems, user experience principles, and human-centered design.
  • Familiarity with software development processes, agile methodologies, and modern product management tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and influence stakeholders.
  • A passion for storytelling and a commitment to creating engaging, impactful learning experiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapt to changing priorities, and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, Product Design or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in design, with a focus on digital products, e-publishing or e-learning platforms.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your design work and project leadership capabilities.
