We are seeking an exceptional Lead Product Manager to join the BFI Player team and deliver the BFIs next generation film streaming service. A motivational and driven individual capable of leading the short and long-term strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Drive and champion the BFI’s digital product strategy, with a particular emphasis on commercially-led creativity and continuous improvement in user engagement.
  • Define an inspiring and strategic product roadmap for BFI Player and its internal systems, ensuring it’s clearly communicated to relevant product teams so they can align their backlogs accordingly.
  • To ensure that the team (employed and freelance) are engaged and well informed regarding the Department’s initiatives and the team’s activities and targets and what is expected from them both in delivery of their objectives and behaviours, including when representing the BFI.
We are looking for candidates who have:
  • Significant experience in product management delivering successful B2C products, with a focus on streaming and media products.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of agile development methodologies.
  • Demonstrable analytical skills that have been used to solve complex software challenges.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative; able to work both alone and in project teams and be comfortable with uncertainty, speculation and problem-solving.
