The Photographer position at Tu Studio is integral to our dynamic content creation Studio. Based in our newly refurbed Studio in Bedford and reporting directly to the Photography and Retouch Manager, you'll play a crucial role in producing compelling and commercially impactful photographic content at scale, all while upholding our standards of quality and adhering to brand/style guidelines. In this role, you'll be tasked with creating photography assets for Tu clothing through a variety of mediums including model shoots, cut-out images, and still-life compositions. This is a full-time permanent position that offers the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across the entire Sainsbury group. What you will do
Your primary responsibility will be crafting exceptional photographic content that brings the Tu clothing brand to life across various platforms. This entails not only meeting the demands of high-volume production but also ensuring that all assets maintain and push our standards of excellence. Collaborating closely with the Photography and Retouch Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining consistency with our brand guidelines, ensuring that every image reflects the essence of Tu clothing. From orchestrating captivating model shoots, to meticulously crafting cut-out images, you'll use your creative vision to showcase our products in the best possible light. Tracking and achieving our photography studio KPIs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis will be essential to support the delivery of our operational studio objectives. Moreover, you'll contribute to the development of content guidelines and actively participate in brainstorming sessions to address studio outputs, infusing your innovative ideas to continuously elevate our content offerings.
Who You Are
You will be an individual with an advanced technical understanding and background in Photography, equipped with a keen eye for detail that allows you to meticulously adhere to set standards. You will have a passion for content quality and brand development and have the confidence and clarity needed to excel in directing models and selecting images that perfectly encapsulate our brand's essence.
As a Photographer for the Tu Studio, you will be proficient in lighting various setups both in the studio and on-location, and possess strong collaborative and communication skills, engaging effortlessly with team members and stakeholders at all levels. You will be used to working within a face paced environment and have good understanding on photo studio KPI's and key deliverables. Your ability to build collaborative relationships, and continuously seek new industry trends and photographic improvements will be a key success factor for this role.
