This role is advertised as part of our BBC Extend programme for disabled people. As an Editor, you will report into the Head of Post Production, where you will be responsible for providing day-to-day creative and technical services.
You will provide in-house online editing of on-air promos for transmission across the BBC’s branded services throughout Europe and Africa, ensuring all material is technically compliant and delivered in line with our transmission specification. You will also be repurposing English videos and artwork for Studios’ key brands, reframing for different social outputs and foreign language markets.
You will also be a support function to the wider team with media management.
You will demonstrate experience and awareness of post-production equipment, procedures, and broadcast technical specifications.
Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop to both broadcast and social standard, and possess a strong technical mind .

You will be comfortable building and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders, internal clients and with technical and non-technical members of a wider Creative team.
You will also need a stable internet connection at home, with a minimum of 20Mbs download and 10mbs upload speeds.

Salary: £35.000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
