Description

At RVU we combine the close-knit and agile environment of a startup, with the know-how, technology and backing of a well-established company.
Our mission is to empower consumers to make confident decisions. With our unique set of brands, including Uswitch, Confused.com, Money.co.uk and Tempcover, we have the power to reach millions of consumers and the technology to deliver a world-class online experience for them.
What’s the role?
We’re looking for a results-driven marketer with a proven track record of delivering highly effective, cross-channel activity on a region-by-region basis. You will have experience of launching and optimising localised marketing campaigns, developing go-to-market strategies that draw on the full marketing mix, with a bias towards digital channels.
Commercially and analytically minded, you will be adept at balancing daily operational rigour with strategic initiatives in order to ensure continuous improvement. You will also be a seasoned communicator with strong influencing skills, well practised at managing multiple stakeholders and delivering through others. In short, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who has a passion for driving business growth.
In this role you will:
  • Lead regional marketing activity and measurement for Uswitch, focussing initially on the expansion of alternative networks in the broadband sector
  • Act as the central point of contact for  regional marketing strategy and results for Uswitch, liaising closely with key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution (e.g. commercial, product, design)  and proactively identifying opportunities to test, learn and scale
  • Work closely with marketing channel owners to deliver activity on time and to a high standard, with an emphasis on digital channels such as paid social, PPC and display, as well as other relevant channels such as OOH and radio
  • Develop a GTM playbook that can be replicated across regions, allowing the program to scale
  • Partner with performance, brand and SEO leaders to balance nationwide and regional marketing approaches
  • Partner with analysts to develop and maintain a robust reporting  methodology for regional marketing, with a focus on delivering incremental business value
  • Build and strengthen relationships with external partners, e.g. alternative networks, to establish success criteria, leading regular touch points, and strategic discussions
What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Proven experience in delivering business growth through cross-channel, regional  marketing activity, with a bias towards digital channels such as paid social and PPC
  • The ability to balance daily rigour with strategic direction, clearly articulating results and plans to all levels of the business
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, able to work at speed to test-learn-scale
  • A great communicator with honed influencing skills
  • Experience of working in  fast-paced, results-oriented environments
  • Ability to project manage and lead end-to-end campaigns
  • Ability to lead without authority, delivering through others without direct line management responsibility
  • Experience working for an alternative network, or within telecoms sector, would be advantageous
Our commitment to you
At RVU we believe that we can be the change we wish to see in the world. We hold ourselves accountable to being open and inclusive teammates and community members. We embrace our differences and are committed to creating an inclusive environment that reflects the world we live in.
