Description

We are looking for a Reporting Accountant to join the National Theatre Finance Team.
The purpose of this role is to compile and develop the NT’s key financial reports, ranging from the management accounts pack and board reporting through to statutory reporting. This role will work with the systems accountant to lead the development of the finance department’s reporting and business intelligence capabilities. This role will identify and develop new reporting to better the NT’s management information. This role will have a high-level understanding of the responsibilities and processes of business partners in each area, to be able to support teams as required in periods of absence or high pressure.
The successful candidate will have the following:
  • The post holder must be qualified by an IFAC recognised professional body, or, part-qualified with extensive relevant experience
  • Experience working with financial systems, such as Sun, Proactis, Sharperlight or similar
  • Previous experience working in a finance department
  • Highly computer literate, ideally with advanced MS Excel, reporting and data visualisation skills
  • Strong Interpersonal skills both face to face and over digital media
