About the team
The Business Development team are a front-line team, looking to convert as many prospective/cold leads into Tide Members as possible. Their efforts are instrumental in expanding Tide's member base, ensuring that new members fully utilise and benefit from Tide’s comprehensive range of products. Through targeted outreach, strategic follow-ups, and personalised engagement, the Business Development team strives to turn every lead into a satisfied and loyal Tide Member.
About the role
As a Senior BD Executive (Field Sales), you will:
  • Be involved in direct engagement with prospective leads face to face, either door to door or at events
  • Prioritise your tasks and manage Direct Reports' work
  • Supervise the attendance and performance of Direct Reports
  • Manage your own workshift and ensure adherence to agreed upon working hours
  • Set clear role responsibilities and targets with Direct Reports and conduct performance reviews through weekly or monthly 1:1 sessions
  • Communicate role responsibilities and targets with your line manager and request or provide performance reviews
  • Address performance issues with Direct Reports and escalate to your line manager if necessary
  • Notify your line manager when unable to fulfil responsibilities to prevent miscommunication
  • Seek career development opportunities and goals in consultation with your line manager during 1:1 sessions
  • Identify, document, and report issues in existing processes affecting yourself or Direct Reports for escalation
  • Take ownership of Dedicated projects and escalate issues or requests related to the relevant product or process through your line manager

  • Previous experience in a fast paced fintech environment
  • Previous experience in a face to face sales role
  • Previous experience in a people management or supervisor role
  • Experience in providing constructive feedback
