Description

As a Senior HR Advisor you'll supports the HR Business Partners (HRBPs) in delivering HR services to their respective client groups. You'll partner closely with HRBPs and other functional areas to provide consultation, research, and recommendations on varied People and Culture topics. You'll leverage your deep HR knowledge to support HRBPs on employee relations issues, compensation, talent development, policy interpretation and compliance with employment laws as well as providing advice and guidance to employees and line managers on employment issues across the employment lifecycle.
What you'll be doing:
Human Resources Information Systems and data
  • Work with the HRBP’s and People Operations team to ensure that all relevant HR data and records are up to date and are compliant
  • Provide support to HRBPs to ensure HR practices align with policies and legal compliance across global
  • locations
  • Work with the HRBP’s and People Operations team to produce statistics and reporting information for the monthly People Plan updates - identifying trends and providing insights to help inform decision making
  • Maintain and update the HR People Hub, so that our internal customers are well informed with ready access to information,
Employment
  • Serve as a resource to HRBPs, supporting the team to provide advisory services and recommendations across all HR disciplines and in support of our internal customers as needed
  • Work in collaboration with the People Operations team to ensure people processes are adopted
  • Providing advice and guidance on Jagex policies, procedures and legislation working closely with the
  • People Operations and HRBP teams to ensure regular reviews and updates are managed effectively to retain compliance and align well with our company culture.
  • Deal with confidential matters sensitively and in accordance with Jagex policy
  • Take responsibility for delivering a high-quality professional HR service to both managers and employees.
  • Respond to queries from employees and managers, looping in relevant team members as needed
  • Write, compile and present information on a range of HR related topics where required.
  • Stay current on HR trends, legislation and best practices to support HRBPs accordingly
  • Support compensation planning, job analysis, job descriptions and pay equity efforts led by HRBPs
  • Research, draft and provide input on HR policies and procedures in partnership with HRBPs and People Operations
Employee Relations
  • Assist HRBPs in investigating and resolving employee relations matters, identifying compliance risks and recommending solutions. This includes carrying out investigations, where appropriate, guiding and advising the manager during the hearing, taking appropriate notes and confirming the outcome.
  • Providing advice to line managers and employees on issues related to workplace or employee relations such as grievances, conduct, employee health and performance management
  • Support managers in Disciplinary and Grievance hearings
  • Support the HRBP’s with DSARS and liaise with individuals when requests arise
  • Conduct research and analysis to support HRBPs in addressing complex HR issues impacting their client groups
  • Provide support to HRBPs to ensure HR practices align with policies, our company culture and legal compliance across global locations.
Ad-hoc Project Work
Contribute to wider project work within the People and Culture team such as:
  • Employee Engagement Survey – Supporting the HRBP’s with action planning and tracking progress
  • Supporting the launch of the Career Framework
  • Performance Management process – supporting managers with queries relating to goal setting and providing statistical updates on progress
  • Support the development of training to upskill people managers on HR topics as required in partnership with HRBPs and the Learning and Development function.
What we're looking for:
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
  • Excellent reporting skills and attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of employment law, international employment law experience would be an advantage
  • A team player, able to work to deadlines and manage a varied and busy workload
  • Competent with Microsoft Office
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and be highly collaborative with the ability to work in a complex matrix environment that spans international borders
  • Able to communicate clearly, both written and verbally
  • Organised, accurate, thorough, and able to prioritise and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
