We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join the National Theatre Marketing Team.
The Senior Marketing Manager works within the South Bank Marketing team, which sits within Audiences & Marketing; this directorate also encompasses Box Office, Brand, Digital Media (National Theatre at Home, NT Live and the Content Production Studio), Press, Communications and the Graphic Design Studio.
The role works closely with members of all these teams to ensure the delivery of sales for live South Bank shows, through a combination of nurturing the existing customer base while also growing a diverse range of new audiences through innovative marketing campaigns.
The role is also directly responsible for the marketing support of key business areas such as the Development department, which oversees the management and growth of memberships and other fundraising initiatives.
The successful candidate will have the following:
  • Significant experience of marketing ticketed events, ideally within the arts, heritage and/or live entertainment sectors, with demonstrable experience of working with ticketing and audience data to analyse and inform campaigns.
  • Proven experience of line managing at least one member of a team in the workplace.
  • Confident and clear communication skills, both written and verbally, with demonstrable experience in tailoring these for a wide range of audiences and stakeholders.
  • A high level of initiative with proven experience of problem-solving and creative thinking.
  • Significant experience of working with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including those at a senior level.
