The UX Writing team delivers clear and concise copy for Tide’s mobile and web products to help our members run and grow their business. We work closely with cross-functional teams, including Design, User Research, Product, and Engineering, to create and deliver intuitive user experiences.
We're looking for an outstanding UX Writer to drive the content across our German app. Your work will have a significant impact on the way we communicate with our members in Germany. You’ll be joining the growing UX Writing team – this is not a marketing or translation role.
You’ll own UX copy in Tide’s recently-launched German app, writing in German (and English occasionally)
Understand business goals and user needs, then plan, develop, and deliver copy that brings the two together
Collaborate with Design, User Research, Product, and Engineering teams to devise holistic solutions to member pain points
Engage with senior stakeholders to support our growth in Germany
Proactively flag issues relating to the Germany app experience
Advocate for the value of UX writing and user-centred design across the business
Contribute to Tide’s content design system to raise the bar for copy across Tide
Proactively flag issues relating to the Germany app experience
Look for opportunities to optimise our localisation processes
Support our long-term strategy and experience quality
Provide German proofreading support to other areas of the business when required eg marketing, CRM, SEO
Excellent writing skills in German (and English ideally), including the ability to distil complicated concepts into easily-digestible copy
3+ years experience writing German copy as a UX Writer or Content Designer, ideally within a similar sector
A data-driven approach to crafting copy
Ability to lead projects and establish a clear direction when faced with ambiguity
Great communication skills with all levels, including senior leadership
Experience of managing stakeholders and balancing multiple priorities
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience of using Figma and translation tools
Passion for inclusive design and accessibility
