This is a brand new position in the company and represents an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to lead and develop a new area for our business, working with one of our key global clients.
We are looking for a talented Social Media Planner/Manager to plan and deliver exciting and engaging Social First content for one of our key global clients. There will be a strong focus on TikTok and YouTube Shorts channels. Your skills will help increase our client’s share of voice across these fast-moving and evolving channels.
You will be responsible for developing a plan and working closely with our in-house creative team and clients marketing team to develop ideas that deliver outstanding Social First content.
Main Tasks and Job Responsibilities:
Content Planning: working alongside our creative team and client to help develop Social First content ideas and communicate how to execute them across the content plan
Manage day-to-day content creation, including ideation, copywriting, graphics and video production
Manage internal and external stakeholders, obtaining approval or edit /amends of content and feeding back to relevant parties
Report on the impact of campaigns, using insight to inform future activity
Deliver effective presentations to both internal and external stakeholders
Ensure all content is on-brand and channel-centric
Stay updated on the latest social media trends and platform updates
Personal Skills and Experience:
A minimum of between 2 – 4 years experience in a similar social media role
Experience in social media planning and activation. Reviewing and responding to briefs, developing ideas and concepts and then creating activation timelines and working across key social channels, primarily TikTok and YouTube Shorts
Ability to deliver creative, inspiring and relevant content that is channel-centric, utilising formats and different aesthetic styles to tell engaging stories.
Management of content production – the ability to work alongside creatives and producers to ensure we get the best Social First content
Experience of insight analysis and content testing – looking at performance via platforms and third-party tools
Manage multiple stakeholders – strong levels of communication required for presenting and reporting to multiple stakeholders
Extensive knowledge of social platforms especially TikTok and YouTube Shorts
Excellent written and verbal skills
Independent, self-motivated, team player who is proactive with meticulous attention to detail
Hours, salary and benefits:
Salary £35,000 – £40,000 dependant on experience
Full-time permanent
Hybrid working (office in Farringdon, London)
20 days holidays a year plus bank holidays. Reviewed after one year.
