Quinn Architects is a close-knit, friendly team based in Shoreditch with an exciting international portfolio of bespoke, high-end residential and mixed-use projects. We are looking for a Studio/Office Assistant, ideally with architecture or design-related education or experience, to provide administrative support within our thriving practice. This role will support the design team for a period of at least 9 months, covering the Studio Manager on maternity leave.

The ideal candidate should be eager to build experience and take on increasing responsibility, while also being willing to handle the essential tasks that support a busy practice. The role includes studio administration and marketing duties.

This is a part-time role, up to 3 days a week, based at our studio in Shoreditch.

Key Responsibilities:
This role requires flexibility and adaptability to support the ever-evolving needs of the studio. Below are some of the recurring responsibilities, with additional tasks to be assigned as they arise:
  • Act as the first point of contact for the studio
  • Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the design team
  • Perform general administrative tasks
  • Order office supplies and handle subsistence needs
  • Organise Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events
  • Prepare and edit documents
  • Maintain a tidy and presentable studio environment
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail (internal and external)
  • File emails, invoices, and receipts
  • Collate office expenditure for accountants
  • Researching and editing content for social media channels

Essential Skills:
  • Proficiency in Excel/Numbers
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
  • Highly organised
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Proactive and logical approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads

Contract Details:
This is a 9-month minimum maternity cover position. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and will be based at our studio in Shoreditch.
