Description

The London Embroidery Studio is an internationally renowned and award-winning embroidery studio creating work for fashion, film, TV, theatre, artists, and events clients worldwide. We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and highly organised Studio Manager to join our small core team.

You have:

  • At least 1 year’s experience in a similar role
  • Experience in responding to client enquiries
  • Confidence in setting up new and efficient ways of working for the whole team
  • Experience using Excel or similar
  • Experience using and populating a workflow system
  • Experience working in creative and/or manufacturing business
  • A drive, passion & energy to support the design and production of beautiful embroidery and grow with a dynamic studio

Extra points if you have:

  • 2+ year’s management experience
  • Experience of working in embroidery and/or textile or garment construction
  • Experience line managing staff members
  • Experience of dealing with international shipping
  • Experience of quality control
  • Experience in client reach out and management
  • First aid training

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Answer all initial new client enquiries
  • Allocate projects to team members
  • Oversee progress of all projects and allocate resources accordingly
  • Keep workflow system updated
  • Lead weekly team meetings
  • Oversee machine use timetable
  • Update clients on the progress of larger projects
  • Costing and quoting for projects
  • Existing and new client reach out and management
  • Be responsible for collating and sending invoices
  • Check and help to pack all work leaving the studio
  • Arrange and track couriers
  • Liaise with freelancers and external suppliers/manufacturers
  • Oversee internship programme
  • Maintain stock levels
  • Contribute and oversee content upload to social media channels and website
  • Assist in management of junior members of staff
  • Demonstrate and champion behaviour that is consistent with the company’s core values


Please note that this in a strictly full-time, in-house position. Normal working hours are 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday but a degree of flexibility is required to ensure deadlines are met. You must be legally allowed to work in the UK to apply.
