Responsibilities
Assist in developing and maintaining our website to ensure it's visually compelling, functional, and user-friendly
Design and implement engaging layouts, visuals, and interactions that enhance user experience
Collaborate with the creative team to bring brand concepts to life on the web
Optimize website performance and ensure mobile responsiveness
Conduct user testing and gather feedback to drive iterative improvements
Stay updated on industry trends, especially in digital design, UX/UI, and web development
Support the integration of multimedia content such as photo galleries, videos, and interactive elements

Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with web frameworks (React, Vue, or similar) is a plus
UX/UI Design Knowledge: Strong grasp of user experience principles and interface design; understanding of wireframing and prototyping tools (like Figma, Adobe XD)
Visual Design Skills: Comfortable with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent; eye for layout, color, and typography
CMS Familiarity: Experience with WordPress or another content management system preferred
Detail-Oriented & Organized: Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Creativity: Passion for fresh, modern design that aligns with the artistic and editorial style of Mess Magazine
Adaptability & Curiosity: Willingness to experiment, learn, and grow in a collaborative setting
Preferred Skills
Basic understanding of SEO principles
Experience with animation and interactive web design
Familiarity with performance optimization for digital platforms
