Arkdefo

Arkdefo is a Glasgow based fashion brand, led by Creative Director Elizaveta Bennett, supported by Managing Director Andrew Bennett. Arkdefo are challenging the throwaway consumerist culture of fast fashion through creative design and education. By creating truly upcycled denim garments they use The Law of Chance as inspiration for their designs, bringing art and individuality to play. Each denim item is a unique work of art and cannot be replicated - a pushback against the profit driven world of corporate fashion, returning the human connectivity and storytelling to clothing. Arkdefo also run an online teaching school, built to educate on slow fashion practices, a return to handcrafts, to create your own capsule wardrobe and empowers their students to develop their creative design thinking skills. Arkdefo believe that, by understanding the work involved in clothes making, we gain a greater respect for the clothes we own and their true value.
