Dark Blue is a digital creative studio located in Shoreditch, London. We design and build websites, web applications and digital marketing campaigns for some of the UK’s biggest and s]mallest companies. The company was founded in a bedroom in Tooting in the summer of 2015, before moving to the Central Working co-working community in early 2016. Since then, we’ve been working with the likes of Virgin, Mindshare and Secret Escapes, completing multiple projects and working with various departments throughout their organisations. We’re proud of the relationships we build and pleased the retention of business is a measure of the quality of work we produce. We began life as a design-focused web agency and have now matured into a full digital creative studio. We’re capable of building complex web applications and crafting a full user experience around them, all the while keeping world class visual design at the heart of each project. Creating websites isn’t just a job to us. We live and breathe the industry, always with a finger on the pulse of new trends in digital design and always bringing that inspiration back into our own projects. Through our journey so far we’ve built small, but incredibly talented team. We’re made up of two designers and two developers and there’s plenty of cross-over on skill sets. Being a digital company, we feel it’s crucial for the lines of design and development to be blurred and no one team members have a specific role. The designers contribute to the front end code and the developers are involved in steering the design process from day one. This makes us completely agile and able to collaborate with each other on any project. In April 2017 we left Central Working and moved into our own office on Charlotte Road. We’re excited to continue our growth, continue to develop and hone our skills and begin relationships with exciting new clients.
