RefugeeYouth

RefugeeYouth is a youth-led charity organisation based in South London dedicated to supporting young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds. Using creative arts and participatory action we connect with our young people and facilitate the exploration of the issues that most affect them. Through our work we strive to increase the resilience, self esteem and improve the emotional wellbeing of our young people as well as help build on their confidence and reduce feelings of isolation. We achieve this mainly through building and maintaining a sense of community and social connection that exists both on and offline and by encouraging our young people to take leadership and ownership over the many different activities we organise.
