Sculpture Placement Group

SPG creates innovative economic models to support artists and promotes sustainability within the arts via active research. Our projects examine the life-cycle of the visual arts, finding effective interventions that impact the production and practices of the sector. Our current projects include heritage projects like Floating Head, that finds new opportunities for significant sculptural works to be seen again. New platforms to help support more sustainable methods in the production of art like the our circular economy tool Circular Arts Network (canarts.org.uk), and a subscription sculpture service that creates opportunities for domestically scaled artworks from leading artists to be collectively purchased.
