"100 Significados"

In this installation, "100 Significados" Matilde plays with several mediums and materials all put together. She also plays with performativity and dimensions. As the title reads in Portuguese it is a wordplay, to have 100 meanings or without meanings. At this moment Matilde focuses her work to recycle, to repurpose, adding new meaning, and giving a new life, to someone else’s waste material. The idea of being a recycler fascinates her, having a zero-waste practice. Being able to create pieces of work that transcend beauty.
