20:20 was initiated by Salusbury World Refugee Centre, a unique and visionary school-based refugee charity in north-west London, which collected oral histories of 20 of their first families to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The Centre asked us to create a visual interpretation of one of the recordings. From Kosovo to London is a multi-media experience focusing on a story of homeland, from adaptation to exile and a celebration of resilience from a refugee named Gent, who came to the UK 20 years ago. The animation was a visual adaptation of Gents words by Myself (Typography) and Patricia Beja (Illustration).
