This project started 10 years ago. When stuck on a train and bored and wanting something to do. I hate wasting time. I'm sure everyone here hates the time when nothing happens. I couldn't draw I was stood up, I didn't want to endlessly scroll through socials. Then I overheard two young guys talking loudly, one had been from Manchester, down to London for an interview, he stayed in a hotel went off to the interview and blew it, he stank. So he did the only thing he felt he could do in that situation, he got mortal drunk, then couldn't remember his way back to his hotel, he wandered the streets all night. It got me thinking. What else could have happened. Then it hit me. I wrote a story called, Fight or Flight in the two train journeys that day. That was the beginning of the process of writing this debut book. It took seven years to get the stories shaped and ready to submit to publishers. I was picked up by Paul Smith Publishing and we spent the last three years fine tuning the stories until I was satisfied with the material. I wanted them words and sentences to form a perfect link between my brain and the readers. I hope I've done that. Here's a link to more about the book, Goodbye Armadillo
