About A New Day A New Day follows the story of Tommy who slowly starts to open up about his friendship group and what he wants for himself. Inspiration keyword: soul-searching, noun 1. deep and anxious consideration of one's emotions and motives or of the correctness of a course of action.
When developing the characters for A New Day, Raphael and Shaneika realised that most of the huge turning points in the characters life started as small overlook choices they made. This aided with the idea of Tommy recalling his story to his Father and deciding he didn't want to be apart of the T.O.K gang anymore through thoughtful discussion and trusting his Father to listen to him.
