"A Place In Between" is a music documentary film on the Haugaland Prog & Rock festival's 2018 edition. Directed by João Filipe, written by Pedro Barão and co-edited with Mike The Axe, it sets to explore the relation between prog rock bands, the audience that shares their love for music and the venue where everything takes place.
Haugaland Prog & Rock is a music and arts festival which takes place in Haugesund, Norway. Despite being quite new and mostly unheard of, the festival reaches a handful of progressive rock lovers from all over the world, bringing them together in a faraway place, near the fjords. There sits a house, a small wooden house, where everything takes place, right between the devotion of musicians and fans, between culture and nature, between travellers and locals. Above all, between the passion of a vlogger and a storyteller, who craved to tell a story about this place and about the memories that it brings to life: a story of a place in between.
