"A preview of a fashion shoot inspired by the women of our families in the 80s and 90s. The shoot uses fashion, colours and lighting to highlight a new sense of freedom given to first wave women immigrants fleeing persecution from male patriarchy in the middle east. The shoot also has a dark side as the era was infamous for decadence and vanity. The story highlights excess and isolation through deep primary colours, boudoir locations and #Maximilast style make up."
