A Supernatural Endeavour

A Supernatural Endeavour stems from Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow; it portrays dark themes such as folklore, the supernatural and death. For me, it is important to connect with my themes on a deeper level to evoke feelings and make a bold statement. This project explores gothic and romantic ideas through carefully selected colour, textural and illustrative imagery. The aim was to create a variety of digital prints for a luxury fashion context. I work well by taking a meaningful approach to my work, and using Sleepy Hollow as inspiration allows me to do that while sparking lots of ideas that fit my style.
