Projects
- A Supernatural EndeavourA Supernatural Endeavour stems from Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow; it portrays dark themes such as folklore, the supernatural and death. For me, it is important to connect with my themes on a deeper level to evoke feelings and make a bold statement. This project explores gothic and romantic ideas through carefully selected colour, textural and illustrative imagery. The aim was to create a variety of digital prints for a luxury fashion context. I work well by taking a meaningful approach to my work,
- Hedonistic EntanglementHedonistic Entanglement is a recent project that mainly focuses on digital and screen printing techniques for fashion. The project is based upon 'The Picture of Dorian Grey' by Oscar Wilde. Using this stimulus I explored dark themes such as deception and corruption. This particular project has been created in a gothic style basing designs on my own drawings and photography.
