A sustainable home design post COVID19
The following project was the result of a 24-hour digital design collaboration.
The home of tomorrow focuses on green energy, technology and utilization of space.
Hygiene will be of higher importance and ‘safe zones’ become a priority prior to entering.
The use of natural ambience can be integrated through skylights and indoor plants will bring the sensation of nature inside.
Technology will be essential and easy implementable; voice activation will be used to limit points of contact.
Stimulating surfaces will give the illusion of compact spaces feeling boundless.
The carbon footprint will be minimized by using materials for several purposes.
There will be no fixed form, spaces can be transformed based on the user’s requirements, though space dividers and unfolding furniture.
