A wild summer

I'm Madeline (she/her), a 21 year old fashion image maker and stylist based in Manchester. The core of my ideas is wild women, the unruly and untamed, and what it actually means to be a wild woman. There are so many pressures for women that sometimes we don't even realise, oh she's too outspoken, too nice, too quiet, jeez she's too out there, too revealing.It's honestly impossible to win as a woman. This idea came to me when someone referred to me as "crazy maddy", just because I expressed that I wasn't happy about something. If the fact I'm not afraid to tell someone when something is wrong makes me crazy, then so be it, I am a wild woman! I created this shoot in partnership with Gracie Brackstone, we both styled the shoot and really had fun with it. What's more wild than dressing up in wigs and so not beach appropriate outfits at the beach? We should be able to wear whatever we want to and this shoot celebrated that, just two wild women having fun playing dress up in the sand. My inspo always is Harley Weir, Petra collins, and all the beautiful creative people around me, and I just needed an insane beach shoot in my life!
