Absurd Bird continue to spread their wings, opening a new branch in Exeter. FormRoom continued their collaboration with DesignLSM to create their latest eclectically designed eating space.
Taking flight even deeper south, the restaurants design took its inspiration from the tropical aesthetic of the bayou. Swinging porch benches, teacup and saucer lights, and a giant window wall looking out onto rich scenes of the swamp and surrounding landscape contribute to a buzzing and atmospheric environment.
With a plantation inspired dovecote transformed into a light, lush green foliage and typographical quotes from ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ customers are transported to a world that lies a just mere five thousand miles away.
