Accessing the Archive

This project was developed and presented by students from MA Culture, Criticism and Curation, working with archive materials from the Southbank Centre. The project explores and investigates issues relating to the process and politics of archiving, and the interpretation and presentation of archive material. Working in a similar manner to a digital algorithm, our team have built a bot to catalogue and redistribute selected material from the archive, across various digital social spaces. The display was realised at the WIndow Gallery at Central Saint Martins and further shown at the Web We Want Festival at the Southbank Centre in 2015.
