Jou-Yie Chou at ACE Hotel commissioned me to create murals for rooms 622 and 728 for their New York location. Mr Chou had seen my sequential how-to illustrations in craft books such as Joelle Hoverson’s Last-Minute Knitted Gifts, or Lily Chin’s Crochet Tips & Tricks and thought they’d add a warm, interactive quality to the decor of the rooms.
