Winner, Advertising Age Creativity Cover Contest 2013
This piece of work is a testament to our belief in trying. After our third time to enter this competition, our entry was chosen and we were sent to Cannes Lions!
Advertising Age launched a cover design competition for their 2013 Creativity issue, with a brief to show creativity in the digital age.
EJ and I came up with the idea to create a striking portrait of evolution, and we did this by depicting a character with a pixelated head made out of paper cubes, signifying the need to think in both analog and digital.
This piece was chosen out of over 300 entries from all over the world. It was the first time Filipinos have won this international competition, and it was time we were ever sent to Cannes Lions.
