Add To Cart is a project/installation on fashion sustainability. The experimental project was focusing on the ‘New Luxury’. Through this project, I addressed varying issues in the fashion industry including fast fashion and brand transparency. The concept behind the project is to introduce a new method in shopping. It imagines a world where fast fashion is honest and instead of checking the price tags, we check the true cost; Just like how we check the nutrition facts on the side of our cereal boxes. To create the bridge between the supermarket-aesthetic cereal box concept to the fashion industry, the boxes were to be displayed in a shopping cart; Like the none other symbolic object found in online shopping, ‘Add to Cart’ The ‘cereal’ boxes or packaging are also scannable via Blippar App which features an AR experience.
