Dior Autumn-Winter 2017/18 Campaign

Not long ago, after Raf Simons has decided to leave its position as Creative Director at Dior in 2015, Maria Grazia Churi empowered the brand's vision with a unique style that combines femininity and 'sporty agility' (Dior, 2017), which seemed to masterfully fit the clientele's inkling of feminism.
On the same tone, the AW 2017/18 advertising campaign presents the Dior lady as wearing delicate lace and denim pieces breathtakingly crafted with mixed embroidery, all paired with right-angled sunglasses and French béret.
Nevertheless, the eclecticism between femininity and masculinity is here portrayed by wrapping the models in a smoky, World War II ambiance, where women are no longer objectified, but they become their own superheroes or, in this case, commanders.
Last, but not least, Dior's autumn-winter 2017/18 campaign keeps us breathless while waiting to see more from Maria Grazia Churi's creative dictatorship at the Parisian fashion house.
