Aerl's Barbershop - Recent Design Studio

Barbershops are central to every city, every neighbourhood and every community. Often times overlooked by its power to impact social development we decided to set our minds to create a brand that served its community through a holistic approach. Taking mental wellness, social interaction and education into account. Helping clients become their better self of tomorrow. We took on this project from the very start with the question of "How does the barbershop evolve?" to the development of the strategy, communications, visual identity and launch campaign. Results show brand loyalty increased amongst existing clients and new acquisitions increased organically as well. We're extremely proud of this project as its self serving to a large community in the center of Amsterdam. My role was as brand Lead; research, analyse, concepting, repositioning, art direct, develop - consult design, creative direct, strategic approaches, copywriting, naming, content creation, social media management.
