Against Oblivion

MA Curating the Contemporary of The CASS, London Met & Whitechapel Gallery curated an exhibition alongside London-based artist and illustrator Ellie Geary. During the exhibition we worked in the space to compile an assembled book of materials collected from exhibitions since the start of our course in September. We invited students to contribute to the project by depositing in the library exhibition press releases, information sheets, promotional leaflets, and installation images from British contemporary art exhibitions of the last 12 months. Together, with Ellie, we created an 'Exhibitions Book' to remain in Commercial Road Library's arts books and archive collection. This book was accompanied by a hang of a series of collage works by Ellie, and was on display in the library for just under a month.
